Course: Officer Safety and Survival
Description
- Five-day course
- Attendees will receive a marksmanship proficiency evaluation, in addition to receiving training in marksmanship, target identification and an introduction to basic combat shooting skills.
- Enhance the techniques used in planning and conducting a high-risk arrest.
- Lecture on mental processing and stress management in a high-risk encounter.
- Controlling and handcuffing an individual in an arrest situation.
- High risk vehicle stops
- Practical exercises consist of arrest scenarios with two or more officers.
(*Course is enhanced with the use of simunition weapons) (750 rounds)
