Course: Basic SWAT
Description
- Five-day course.
- Attendees should be potential SWAT team members or drug intervention teams.
- Attendees will receive a marksmanship proficiency evaluation, in addition to receiving training in marksmanship, target identification and an introduction to basic combat shooting skills.
- Lectures will focus on the fundamentals of team building and tactical resolution.
- Emphasis will be placed on dynamic movement, entry and team arrest procedures.
- Team skills will be reinforced with practical exercises.
(*Course is enhanced with the use of simunition weapons) (750 rounds)
Note: The costs associated with the use of Simunition weapons, ammunition and protective gear is in addition to the registration fee for the course (if equipment is rented from CATS).
